SO...Been there... I call it Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, personally. It is not a sickness, illness, and I don't see it as a Disorder, it is not a Disease, and I had brain issues and Grave's Disease,... a Syndrome of declining Emotional symptoms, is what I see. Even though in my case, I was Ill with Grave's Disease, a bad thyroid, and had a bad case of Candida Overgrowth, and Leaky Gut Syndrome. But now, the trauma is mental....emotional... that is what is really bothering you...once you have a technique to Process those emotions.... things subside....REALLY....No Kidding. I used to tell people my Stress and Anxiety were a 10+, out there with PLUTO and beyond... and it was always there in the background ready to pounce. We are put under stress, we get anxious because we don't know what is going on, what is happening to us, and so we PANIC....this has a lot in common with Panic and Anxiety attacks... go read my section on that, or watch my video. In other words, yes you may have experienced a physical trauma, and been traumatized, but NOW the problem is Psychological, and deals out Torment and Turmoil, through the emotions.... my technique works on that... and it helps greatly. I offer you a technique, that I have been doing since 2009. I have been my own Guinea Pig. Depending on the websites, the symptoms can vary. When researching PTSD last decade when I was in the midst of my malady, I found 18 to 20 symptoms,... but they seem to be settled now to four types of symptoms... but at the time I recognized all 18 to 20... Here is a current list from MayoClinic.org: "PTSD symptoms are generally grouped into four types: intrusive memories, avoidance, negative changes in thinking and mood, or changes in emotional reactions. Intrusive memoriesSymptoms of intrusive memories may include:
Recurrent, unwanted distressing memories of the traumatic event
Reliving the traumatic event as if it were happening again (flashbacks)
Upsetting dreams about the traumatic event
Severe emotional distress or physical reactions to something that reminds you of the event
AvoidanceSymptoms of avoidance may include:
Trying to avoid thinking or talking about the traumatic event
Avoiding places, activities or people that remind you of the traumatic event
Negative changes in thinking and moodSymptoms of negative changes in thinking and mood may include:
Negative feelings about yourself or other people
Inability to experience positive emotions
Feeling emotionally numb
Lack of interest in activities you once enjoyed
Hopelessness about the future
Memory problems, including not remembering important aspects of the traumatic event
Difficulty maintaining close relationships
Changes in emotional reactionsSymptoms of changes in emotional reactions (also called arousal symptoms) may include:
Irritability, angry outbursts or aggressive behavior
Always being on guard for danger
Overwhelming guilt or shame
Self-destructive behavior, such as drinking too much or driving too fast
Trouble concentrating
Trouble sleeping
Being easily startled or frightened
Intensity of symptoms.... PTSD symptoms can vary in intensity over time. You may have more PTSD symptoms when you're stressed in general, or when you run into reminders of what you went through. For example, you may hear a car backfire and relive combat experiences." ==============================================================================================
You may or may not have all of them. I did not have the "destructive behavior" for example... I was too sick... all though you wish you were dead sometimes... but that is a symptom of any misery....
How can my technique help all of this.... they are symptoms.... they are not the cause.... you treat the cause.... the symptoms stop.... you get over the Flu, the symptoms stop.... your body goes back to normal... you therefore have to get at what is really causing the stress symptoms... and the effects on the Nervous System of your body.... It is emotionally related.... Hover on MORE on my menu. Go down to the first item....read about Emotional Charge... my technique is based on this concept, and works on the Emotional Load a person is under... there may have been a Physiological Cause, an accident, combat injury, etc,, but now the cause is Psychological, the Subconscious Mind can kick in, the Emotional Centers of the Brain can stay perturbed. Mine had Physical Symptoms... hyper nervous condition, my nerves were just shot from all the fighting off the sickness, and going to doctors, exams, ending up in the emergency room, etc.... having the physical symptoms, brain fog, can't think, from the Candida, and the overall pain from the top of my head to the soles of my feet..... Misery. Was caused by Leaky Gut Syndrome. Well, quite frankly, if it is Stress.... That is the Stress Charge.... and that is a part of Trauma... there is another term that goes along with "Emotional Charge", and that is "Traumatic Charge"... the Load of the Trauma, on YOU... which contains Emotions and other states, and Symptoms. Those physical symptoms quit when I did the physical things necessary for them to stop.... cure the Candida... it is a probiotic deficiency... your intestines need good, beneficial bacteria.... Leaky Gut was cured with Intestinal Repair products... but I still had damage, I have to watch what I eat.... I still have the Grave's Disease, and no Thyroid... so am just taking my Levoxy and a Desiccated Pig Thyroid Supplement.... but even so... in 2007 I was a nervous wretch of a human being... even though there are physical causes going on, even though they get stopped or fixed, or "managed"...there is still the Emotional/psychological effects..... This is where my technique helped me get over those symptoms.... It targets the Pressure, and Stress, and Trauma you went through as an Emotional Experience, and it depletes the Load, or Burden you were under... even if you did not feel that you were under it at the time.... we suppress things so we can function, and that is one of the problems that builds up.... Emotional Charge..... Bottled up emotions.... that then Strike from Within.... it is an Emotional Attack... we call them Panic or Anxiety attacks... since it is PTSD, I don't see why they are not called....Stress Attacks.... would be a good term.... In other words... the technique can stop the Emotional Associations, and signals that are triggering "episodes"... they can diminish and stop... you can be calm again!!.... No kidding.... The Depression can be helped.... without meds... I could not stand being on Anti-depressants. My technique is all I have used since 2009.... No kidding.... There IS help, there IS a technique... it can get at and help stop the Emotions that are being triggered, and the body's reactions, like with Panic Attacks, because Panic is a Severe Feeling of Fear.... and Fear is an Emotional Charge. The technique works on the Emotional Charge, or the Load, that the emotion is giving you... it does this by directly looking at it. The technique is described in my work, "Happiness Is No Charge". Click on the Happiness Is No Charge link above to go learn about the technique. Also, click on My Depression Story, and read about what I went through, the pressures and stress of Illness, and how I discovered the technique, and how it helped me. You might also want to hover over MORE on the right, and go down to Emotional Charge Page and read about what Emotional Charge is... it is what the technique is based on. Click on Versions to read about the Kindle Book and the DVD, and where to get them, and you can decide which is best for you. The book is a short read, but teaches everything about the technique you need to get started. The DVD has more material, and more examples, there is an Addendum, and a List of Emotions you can start on. Bless you, and thank you for visiting.
