My Car Accident, and the shock and trauma were relieved by the technique relatively quickly for the intensity of the experience.
Somethings resolve within minutes, major trauma is going to take awhile, but the initial shock you can work on over time, and have quicker than normal relief. Mine was better in around the first 8 hours, and much better within 24 hours.
On Tuesday, January 31, 2017, around 8:30 PM, I had an accident in my car. I struck a lamp post in the parking lot of a grocery store. It knocked out my right side headlight area and fender, and bumper. I also broke a bone in my left wrist, and other minor damage to my left arm, which now supports the splint, and will be cast in a few days, most likely. I drive a 1972 Datsun 240 Z. It is gold with black trim, a black pinstripe, and a Chinese, five toed, Imperial Dragon on the hood. So you can imagine my emotional reaction since I have driven this car since I was 19 years old. I was pulling out of the parking lot, and going to the end of the aisle, I was debating whether to cut across the aisle as there were no cars around, or to continue to the end of the isle and turned right. I started to turn right, and thought better of it, and I thought it was okay, but it was not, and by the time I realized it I had struck the cement bottom of the lamp post. I was in immediate shock, and severe pain in my left arm, and hand. I took off my seat belt and got out of the car, and I was immediately struck with hysterics and crying, and my disbelief and severe grief and sorrow, along with my intense excruciating pain in my left hand and wrist and arm. I started to do by technique at that point, as I was crying and in extreme pain, and I need a more clear head if I am to make any decisions. If it were not for my technique, I would still be sitting in the parking lot crying my eyes out. So I did the technique there at the parking lot. I did it in the tow truck as the guy was putting my car on his truck, as we went down the road and he took me home, and at home after calling my insurance company and getting my claim started, and on the way to the hospital, as well as there, and on the way back. At home I did the technique while I was laying in the recliner chair waiting for sleep, after about an hour, I noticed the Shock start to really lift, and release. Much was dissipated at this time, and my head was clearing up, and I was able to get to sleep, and had a good sleep. it had been about 8 hours of doing the technique off and on, and it really helped to process those emotions, and shock. Upon waking I talked with my insurance company, found I did not have Collision on my policy, so repairs are out-of-pocket. They took care of the towing, and the medical bills at the hospital, thankfully I had that covered. My father had taken off collision from the policy to save money, and I had not re-added it, after my father's passing last year. So the car is at a body shop, getting an estimate, and hopefully we will be able to restore it to good condition I hope and pray. Basically within 24 hours the majority of the shock and traumatic part of the initial episode was over with and gone. The technique eventually stopped the breakdowns of crying, and grief, sorrow, anguish, the anxiety, and worry about the future, the uncertainty of things, etc.... without the technique I would have been a useless nervous wreck. Other than my left arm down to the hand, and a broken left wrist, I had no other injuries. So I was thankful for that it was a low-speed, 5 to 10 miles an hour, impact. And I am very thankful, and grateful, that it was not worse. I have edited this now on Nov. 23, 2017... to reflect things in the past, rather than just happening. My wrist is better, I had a broken bone, and surgery, the technique helped with that too. So, the technique helped with this episode from beginning to end and still serves me nearly everyday on my emotional issues.... no thyroid is a real pain sometimes... and shot nerves are no fun. So you can see the benefit of a clearer head in times of pain and troubles that the technique can be.
