There are MANY Psychosomatic Phenomena. I studied for 2 years, 1974-76. Took a sort of "Pop Psychology" course, got a certificate. It was grueling 12 hour days on the weekends. Many books, and exercises, learning techniques etc... my terms may be somewhat out of date, but are none-the-less valid, they still work as an explanation of phenomena. I have changed some of the terms to avoid LEGAL TROUBLES and not plagiarize someone else's work. Psychosomatic "Illness", is just one type of phenomena. I have seen WOUNDS recalled and placed back on the person's body, it happened to a friend of mine. My Panic Attack was actually a Psychosomatic Recall as well. There may be a physiological action/reaction on the body, but the Source is in the Mind, the Subconscious in particular. You have no awareness of it, generally. There are techniques for it, and they can be resolved, and stopped, and without the use of drugs, or Hypnosis. We can get sick because we need, want, or desire attention, or sympathy, or even to get someone to stop pestering us. "Don't bother me, I don't feel well today." sort of thing. We can even get sick because someone cuts us off. Blocks our Communication. We then Repress our emotions and communication has no where to go...so it attacks US....It can become Psychosomatic, and it can be short, or become chronic. Also, the subconscious can be recalling an illness, and turn it on as a memory. Simply because it is reminded of a previous time when a person was sick. A friend had the flu recently, and I stayed away from the door, but just walking back to my home I was feeling it coming on. I acknowledged it, and did the technique on it. As an experience and a memory, and a Trigger, it was a Charge, and the technique works on that Charge. About 5 to 10 minutes later it stopped. Restimulation of a memory, reminded by a situation, sensations felt in the body, the Source? The Subconscious Mind. The subconscious can turn it on chronically, if it thinks it needs to. People can stay sick as they have not dealt with what the Subconscious is trying to show them. It is trying to show them this memory, but does not talk to people, as that would be "crazy", right? So the subconscious "speaks", in Images, Emotions, and Sensations. It is a LANGUAGE. The Language of the Subconscious, and it CAN talk, if it so chooses to, and you can talk to it. When I had my 2nd Panic Attack, I had to ask the subconscious what it was about. It then gave me an image of the previous attack on Gath Road, (where I had my first Panic Attack), going over to Aumsville, a nearby town, to see a friend of mine, and this time, though I was going to a different town to see a different person, it was reminded of the previous time, and started making me nervous, as it was reminded of the danger in Aumsville, because I would be taking the same route, but only gave me the nervous sensation. Doing the technique stopped that, and the trigger of the location as I was going to be going through that same stretch of road. I did this about three times going through that stretch of road going over and coming back. It was a Psychosomatic Event, one type of phenomena and the thing driving this is "This Thing Called Charge", and it is Emotional Charge that fuels it and gets triggered, positive and negative. "LIFE", may well be Psychosomatic... LOL. The joke is on us. If 80% of our ills are Psychosomatic, then why don't we have a technique in the medicine cabinet for that? Well, you should, and you CAN... and it is relatively SIMPLE to do... So you can try this, and if you don't get an answer for a while don't worry, the subconscious may take a while in answering. Ask it what this is all about. Just say, "Subconscious, what is this all about?" You can name the situation, or circumstance, illness, pain, etc.... This is just a test to see if something is there, okay? For my Panic Attack go to my Happiness Is No Charge webpage on that:
